Our Terms and Conditions

All bookings are subject to these Terms & Conditions. Bookings are complete and binding when the confirmation is received, whether verbally or in writing, and when the required deposit is received from the client (if required), at which time the deposit becomes non-refundable.

In these conditions, “ukairportexpress.com” shall mean “ukairportexpress.com” (Trading name of UK Airport Express). All transactions on Stripe payment links are processed by our partner company UK Airport Express.

ukairportexpress.com (or its agents, servants, or subsidiaries) shall not be liable for any loss suffered by any customer or passenger caused by accident or road traffic delay. This matter will be between the group leader, the passengers travelling, and the contractor (driver). Passengers must remain seated whilst the vehicle is in motion.

ukairportexpress.com does not give, nor is anyone authorised to give on its behalf, any express or implied warranty or representation regarding any bookings.

Company Rights

ukairportexpress.com shall be permitted:

(a) To cancel, suspend, alter, or withdraw any travel, transport, accommodation, or other service booked if unable to fulfil the journey for any reason. In the case of such cancellation or suspension, a full refund will be made of all monies paid for the cancelled service. The client will be informed in advance where possible. Reasons may include vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances. ukairportexpress.com will attempt to arrange a suitable alternative but will not be liable for additional costs incurred.

(b) To refuse to carry or accommodate any person without providing a reason for such refusal.

Charges in all transactions are based on prices prevailing at the time the service is used and may be altered without notice due to changes in exchange rates or fares.

Damage & Behaviour

Any damage caused to the vehicle or its fittings by any member of the party, whether wilfully or negligently, shall be the responsibility of the Hirer. Repair costs, vehicle downtime, and related losses must be paid directly to ukairportexpress.com or the contracted operator.

Claims may be made against the client for costs incurred due to inappropriate behaviour. Criminal proceedings may also be initiated where applicable.

As a booking agent, ukairportexpress.com is not responsible for damage caused by passengers. The Hirer holds full responsibility directly with the contractor (driver) unless otherwise agreed in writing. Photo evidence may be required.

Routes & Availability

Routes are arranged by ukairportexpress.com unless otherwise requested. Any deviation resulting in additional mileage or time will incur extra charges payable by the Hirer.

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability. A quotation does not guarantee availability. If a booking cannot be fulfilled, ukairportexpress.com reserves the right to cancel and refund the booking.

Deposits

A minimum non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total hire charge is required to secure a booking. If ukairportexpress.com cannot fulfil the journey, the deposit will be refunded in full.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Important Refund Rule:
Refunds are only applicable if the booking is cancelled more than 14 days prior to the journey date. In such cases, a 50% refund of the total booking cost will be issued.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the journey date are non-refundable.

Once passengers have boarded the vehicle, the contract is considered fulfilled and no refunds will be issued.

Additional services (such as accommodation, meals, ferry charges) may incur separate cancellation fees which will be passed on to the Hirer.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation request, minus any applicable charges.

No-Show Policy

A “No Show” occurs if the passenger fails to meet the driver at the agreed pick-up time and location, provides incorrect booking details, or fails to make contact within one hour of the scheduled pick-up time.

In the event of a no-show, the full booking cost will be charged. Pre-paid bookings are non-refundable.

Vehicle & Safety

Vehicles do not require and therefore do not have safety screens between the driver and passengers.

Passenger & Driver Advice (COVID-19)

Passengers and drivers are advised to follow current UK Government guidance regarding COVID-19, including hygiene practices, ventilation, and personal health precautions.

Subcontracting

ukairportexpress.com operates as a broker and may subcontract journeys to other licensed operators when necessary. All drivers are fully insured and appropriately licensed.

Conduct & Authority

Drivers are responsible for their vehicles and have full authority to refuse or remove passengers if safety is compromised. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

General Rules

• No animals permitted except guide dogs.
• No alcohol, smoking, or fast food allowed in vehicles unless agreed in advance.
• Passengers are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings.
• Seat belts must be worn where provided.
• Payment must be made in full before departure unless otherwise agreed.

Any duplicate or incorrect payments refunded will incur a 5% administration fee.

By paying a deposit or full payment, you confirm acceptance of all Terms & Conditions.
